What to expect
The Nightingale Tribute is our signature service. Nurse Honor Guards process in wearing traditional white scrubs, navy blue cape and nursing cap carrying a lit Nightingale Lamp. A brief biography of the nurse's career is read aloud. We then read the Nightingale Tribute and lay a white rose next to the urn or casket. The final roll call to duty is performed. We then release the nurse of her/his earthly nursing duties and the lamp is extinguished. The Nightingale Lamp is then presented to the family. The ceremony is completed and we file out of the room. This will be altered for living and display tributes.
Once you are on our volunteer roster, you will receive text or email alerts of upcoming tributes. You can respond if you are able to partcipate.
Services are offered at no charge.
